Quilt-a-holics Support Group Meetings
Do you see patchwork designs in the floor tiles everywhere you go? Do your dream vacations feature quilt shops instead of foreign countries? Has your fabric stash spread to all the rooms in you house? Do you have your local fabric shop's phone number on speed dial? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you too may be a quilt-a-holic. Come join your fellow quilters for the support and understanding we need for our "addiction". (Cure? Who said anything about wanting to be cured?!) Come finish your quilt projects. Bring a "Show & Tell" quilt or problem quilt to discuss and get help with. We will have door prizes and demonstrations and lots of fun!!!

Samurai Woman
This quilt features a medallion style center block. It is perfect for a “panel” fabric, or for that special piece that you have never wanted to cut up. There are many new, large scale florals and theme prints which would work well. My block is a 16” silk screen from the Metropolitan Museum in New York ; it was a gift and I had been searching for that perfect pattern. I think that I have found it and I want to share it with you. The pattern is easily adapted to different size “medallions” with the use of thangles.

Golden Harvest
I love this paper-pieced harvest quilt. I have chosen the golden tones but this quilt is beautiful in apple reds, greens or any combination of “apple colors” (real or imagined). After the apples are pieced, the block is “twisted” to give it a more dramatic effect. Make it “scrappy” or use some of the great apple fabrics from Quilted Vine. This is really a fun class and an opportunity to put some design into your paper piecing skills.
